The Blended “Takinoka Black” is a Whisky that embodies the emblem of the art of blending of the White Oak Distillery, a Japanese production reality based in the city of Akashi. Yes, because this label is born from the blend of different types of Single Malt and Grain Whisky, expertly assembled by the Master Blender of the distillery in equal proportions. A spirit forged in the name of refinement and drinkability, which impresses from the very first sips, offering a satisfying tasting experience.
This Blended Whisky “Tokinoka Black” is born from a careful production process, monitored in the smallest details, almost with obsessive care, by the team at White Oak Distillery. It is a bottle that comes to life from a meticulous blend of Single Malt Whisky and Grain Whisky, each contributing 50% to the final blend. After the processing phase, we move on to the important aging phase, in which the Whisky rests in three different types of wood: barrels that contained Bourbon, Sherry, and in 100% new wooden barrels, capable of releasing particular tertiary components. After maturation, the Blended is ready to be bottled and marketed.
The “Takinoka Black” White Oak Distillery is a Blended Whisky that, upon visual examination, manifests with a very intense and bright golden yellow color. On the nose, pleasant fruity and spicy sensations are perceived, enhanced by sweeter notes, resulting from the aging period spent in wood. On the palate, it has excellent body, velvety and enveloping, with an extremely delicate sip, characterized by a taste where the spices and fruit already perceived on the nose can be found. A distillate with a subtle and satisfying profile at the same time, to be sipped during the quieter evenings.
