Whisky Single Malt Glenlivet 12 Anni
Perfect to give as a giftGlenlivet Whiskey Single Malt 12 Years is a very representative single malt from the Speyside area, in the northern part of the Spice: from the variegated organoleptic profile with notes of ripe pear, oranges and lemons. It evolves with aromas of vanilla, butter and cereals, enveloping and warm to the palate, with good flavor.
The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is a sophisticated and complex spirit, one of the most important Single Malts from the Scottish Speyside production area. Creamy and delicate, it is perfect for sipping after dinner with a few ice cubes, playing the leading role throughout the entire evening. We are faced with a label that fully represents the production style of Glenlivet, a distillery that has been producing Whisky of absolute quality for almost two centuries, capable of leaving even the most experienced and passionate drinkers in awe.
The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Single Malt is a Whisky that is born from the distillation of barley malt, a grain that is chosen directly from the fields of Banffshire. During the production process, the water from the nearby Josie’s Well stream, rich in mineral elements, is used. The distillation takes place thanks to the presence of 14 stills, 7 dedicated to the first distillation and 7 for the second. Once the production process is completed, the Whisky is finally ready to be transferred to oak barrels, where it remains to rest for 12 years, after which it is bottled.
The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky develops in the glass with a very bright golden color, characterized by a beautiful and inviting brilliance. The nose is tinged with a fruity profile, where the ripeness of pears and citrus fruits can be appreciated, interspersed with sweeter and spicier notes as well as buttery nuances. On the palate, it has excellent body, with a warm and smooth sip, which recalls a sweet taste where a fruity flavor consistent with the olfactory spectrum emerges. A perfect label as a gift for fans of Scottish Speyside Whisky, one of the most appreciated and known Single Malts in the world.
