It originates in Louisville and is the pure expression of American taste, created to impart a more alluring nuance and greater aromatic richness to the traditional Scottish distillate. The choice of highly toasted noble woods and a finish in Port barrels gives this characteristic of sweet tasting pleasure. It is excellent to drink neat or on the rocks, but it shines in mixology, as an ingredient for cocktails and long drinks.
The Bourbon Whiskey from Angel’s Envy is born from a processing method that starts with a selection of excellent barley malt. Once the preparatory phases are completed, the distillation still takes place today in small batches of 8-12 barrels at a time, ensuring a care inspired by the artisanal origins of the activity. Everything takes place under the watchful eye of expert master distillers, in order to obtain a Whisky with an elegant profile and particularly aromatic notes.intense. The aging takes place for about 6 years in highly toasted American oak barrels, which have a charred interior. The use of wood treated in this way allows the distillate to mature, developing smoothness and a pleasant spicy connotation, which characteristically marks its aromatic profile. For the last six months of the refinement process, French oak barrels imported directly from Portugal are used, previously employed for aging Port. A final touch that contributes to imparting fruity sweetness to the Bourbon.
