It is the result of the union of three different Nikka distillates: Yoichi, characterized by rather peaty aromas; Miyagikyo soft and gentle and a Coffey Still Whisky. The result is a harmonious, broad and rich combination, with fruity, honeyed and caramel notes, making the sip particularly seductive and satisfying. The "Tailored" Blended Whisky is produced by a famous Japanese brand that has managed to conquer the most attentive and knowledgeable connoisseurs. The Nikka distillery was created by Masataka Taketsuru, a great connoisseur of Scottish tradition and Japanese sake culture. The company is located near Hokkaidō, in an area naturally rich in peat, water springs and offers a range of labels of Single Malt and Blended Whisky of excellent quality. The production process is based on a rigorous selection of top-quality grains and pure water. The subsequent stages of fermentation and distillation take place with extreme care using traditional artisanal techniques, with the goal of achieving the highest absolute quality. The Whisky matures for 12 years in wooden barrels and is diluted with pure and light water to lower the alcohol content.
The Blended Whisky "Tailored" is a high-level distillate from the Nikka range, which bases its success on a deep knowledge of production processes and meticulous Japanese attention to the smallest details. In the glass, it presents an amber color with bright antique gold reflections. The olfactory profile is characterized by aromas of ripe yellow fruit, hints of wildflower honey, notes of dark chocolate, soft spices, noble woods, and light peat nuances.
