The "Voyages" by Pierre Frick is an Alsatian white wine that comes from an assembly of Pinot Gris, Sylvaner and Riesling grapes from three different vintages. The nose offers a very typical and rich bouquet, whose layers of chalk, candied citrus fruits and sweet spices. The sip shows agility, envelopment and dynamism, enclosed in an intense, rich and decisive body. Biodynamic, Organic and Artisanal Wine

Pierre Frick is undoubtedly one of the most representative producers of Alsace, and his "Voyages" is a worthy testament to that. With a family tradition of 12 generations, currently, it is his wife Chantal and son Thomas who assist Pierre in the cultivation of about a dozen hectares, following the principles of biodynamic agriculture. Their philosophy is one of production, adhering to traditional methods, which is reflected in a wine capable of expressing Alsace and its most important grape varieties.

The "Voyages" of Frick is, as the name itself suggests, a journey. A path through three different grape varieties (Pinot Gris, Riesling, and Sylvaner) and three different vintages. Planted on predominantly limestone soils, the grapes, always following biodynamic principles, are hand-harvested and, once brought to the winery, fermentation is awaited. No type of yeast is added to the must, and everything happens spontaneously, precisely to enhance the characteristics of these 3 grape varieties and the peculiarities of this extraordinary territory. The maceration on the skins further enriches the aromatic bouquet, which is completed and defined with a few months of resting in wooden barrels.

With a seductive veil in the glass, Frick "Voyages" is a wine that opens up to the nose with intense notes of grapefruit and candied orange. The limestone of the territory is echoed by hints of gypsum and a pronounced minerality on the palate. Thanks to the long maceration on the skins, Frick manages to add to the aromatic spectrum spicy notes like clove; of ripe fruit like peach and apricot, and hints of honey. A wine that requires a pairing that can hold up to the extraordinary complexity and structure of Pinot Gris, Riesling, and Sylvaner. Divine with Munster, a typical Alsatian washed-rind cheese, with intense flavor and olfactory fragrance, "Voyages" can provide great satisfaction when tasted with dishes based on white meat.
