The Vin Santo di Montepulciano from the Avignonesi winery is a great dessert wine from the Tuscan tradition, a true chalice of history, which contains a treasure trove of precious and elegant scents and aromas. Patiently aged for over 10 years according to the oldest customs, it releases seductive aromas of citrus peel, dried fruit, honey, and caramel. On the palate, it is soft and enveloping, with deep, persistent aromas and a finish of good freshness, which gives vitality and dynamism to the sip, without ever making it cloying.

The sweet wine Vin Santo di Montepulciano is produced by the Avignonesi winery still according to the oldest procedure. It starts with a selection of the best bunches of Trebbiano and Malvasia from Tuscany, which after the harvest are dried for several months on special bamboo mats in well-ventilated rooms. The grapes dehydrate slowly, progressively concentrating the sugars and aromas. The long and slow fermentation occurs thanks to the use of the mother, a centenary indigenous yeast, which renews its life with each harvest.its life in contact with the new must to be fermented. The wine continues its journey in small 50-liter oak barrels where it rests for over 10 years before being bottled.

The Vin Santo di Montepulciano is a precious jewel of the Avignonesi winery that still today continues to produce this refined and delightful nectar. A dessert wine that rewards the wait of over 10 years with olfactory and taste sensations of rare charm and intensity. The color is amber yellow with brilliant caramel reflections. On the nose, it offers a refined and complex aromatic palette, with notes of dried fruit, honey and caramel, dried fruit, figs, citrus peel, and soft spices.
