This "Vignavella" is a product made by the Milazzo winery, which works in two different areas, characterized by a different subsoil composition; in particular, in the Vella area, there are clay and limestone components, while within the Munti terroir, the soils are organic and deep. The grapes, hand-picked during the month of September, are crushed and destemmed, and then subjected to cryomaceration for 24 hours; this is followed by alcoholic fermentation, carried out in stainless steel containers.
The wine "Vignavella" is a white that, upon visual examination, announces with a straw yellow color, crossed by light reflections tending towards gold, visible at the rim. On the nose, there are mainly fruity sensations, which, in the finish, turn towards hints of sweet spices. On the palate, it is light-bodied, enveloping, lean, and drinkable, with a sip characterized by a well-balanced fruity taste. A bottle with which Milazzo gives us the perfect Sicilian white to pair with fish-based lunches and dinners.
