Giacobini's Vermouth Bianco is a flavoured wine from Calabria that is the result of a long process of experimentation. It is composed of Petelia Ceraudo organic wine, grape sugar, extracts and infusions of aromatic herbs, citrus peel and Mediterranean spices. The result is a rich and intense but still very fresh Vermouth that can be enjoyed both 'on the rocks' and blended to create unmistakable cocktails. An explosion of fragrances, including citron, Calabrian bergamot, coriander, rosemary and almond, enclosed in iconic packaging that takes a contemporary twist on the classic 1904 label 

The White Vermouth of the Giacobini brand is an aromatic wine with a distinct Mediterranean identity, produced from a rich selection of Mediterranean botanicals combined with organic white wine from Calabria. The production by Giacobini is inspired by the long tradition of tonics from the Altomonte area, where in 1085 the Benedictine monks began producing medicinal remedies thanks to their deep knowledge of medicinal herbs. In 1879, based on this established history of monastic pharmacopoeia, which had meanwhile transformed into the art of liquor making, the Giacobini family founded the Royal Liquor Factory in Altomonte, the largest in the Bourbon Kingdom. Recently, Vittorio Gargaglione, owner of Essenza Mediterranea, has revived this historic brand by collaborating with the renowned local winery Ceraudo.

Giacobini White Vermouth is made from a base of white wine 'Petelia', produced under certified organic conditions by the Ceraudo winery from the indigenous varieties Greco Bianco and Mantonico. This fine wine base is combined with a solution obtained from the infusion of 16 different Mediterranean botanicals in alcohol. Among these stand out licorice, almond, rosemary, sage, wormwood, gentian, bitter orange, Calabrian cedar, Sicilian blood orange, and Calabrian bergamot. Everything is sweetened with grape sugar to balance the bitter component of certain botanicals, and the vermouth is then aged in wooden barrels until bottling.

The Giacobini White Vermouth is of an intense straw yellow color. Fresh citrus aromas of cedar and bergamot characterize the aromatic range along with sensations of rosemary, coriander, and almond. The tasting is rich and intense, with great structure, and the pronounced freshness gives momentum to the progression, contributing to the overall excellent balance.
