Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore 'Tre Ripe Pievalta 2
Organic and biodynamic
Perfect to drink every dayThe Verdicchio from Castelli di Jesi 'Tre Ripe' by Pievalta is a simple, fresh, and smooth wine, perfect to pair with fish dishes. On the nose, it offers a very fragrant and delicate bouquet reminiscent of dried fruit (almond), citrus, white fruit, and light essences that recall the sea. On the palate, it is easy-drinking, dynamic, and pleasantly enveloping, with savory and fruity returns.
The Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi 'Tre Ripe' by Pievalta is a white wine fresh, young and immediate, that tells the whole freshness of the hills of Marche, crossed by the marine imprint of the Adriatic Sea. The aging exclusively in steel preserves the fragrance of the fruit and the most varietal characteristics of the Verdicchio grape, which, precisely in the vocated territories of Ancona, in this case in San Paolo di Jesi, the center of the denomination, manages to express itself authentically. Moreover, this white is the result of a biodynamic philosophy (the first Demeter certified in Marche) and organic, carried out by the young winemaker Alessandro Fenino on behalf of Barone Pizzini, a great name of Franciacorta. The wines aim to enhance the expressiveness of the territory, condensing in the liquid the purest and most genuine characteristics of the land of origin. Thus, this version of Verdicchio, simple and carefree, is perfect for those who want to delve into the world of biodynamic wines that represent the Marche territory.
The Verdicchio vines that give origin to the white wine of Pievalta grow in three areas where the 'Tre Ripe' are located, the three vineyards, of Maiolati Spontini, Montecarotto and Monte Follonica. The vines grow at different altitudes on sandy soils with low concentrations of clay and limestone. The classic guyot training system combined with the strong vocation of the area and the skilled hand of the producer allows the grapes to grow healthy, pure and lush. The plants, in fact, feed on horn manure, biodynamic preparations and low quantities of sulfur, maximizing territorial expressiveness. In the cellar, the philosophy remains the same: the wine uses its indigenous yeasts to catalyze the fermentations in steel and does not undergo any invasive processes, such as clarifications or massive addition of sulfites.
The Verdicchio 'Tre Ripe' shines in the glass with its pale straw yellow hue, crossed by light greenish reflections. On the nose, it recalls notes of juicy citrus, dried fruit, white-fleshed fruit, floral fragrances and pleasant sea accents. The sip is light and slender, marked by a pronounced
