Vecchio Amaro del Capo is a famous Italian liqueur made with an ancient Calabrian recipe, which involves the use of regional herbs, fruits and flowers. To be served chilled, it is perfect to be enjoyed straight, as a cocktail ingredient or to correct coffee. With its aromatic, enveloping and genuine taste, it expresses all the Mediterranean warmth of Calabria!

Vecchio Amaro del Capo, produced by the Caffo distillery, is one of the most well-known and appreciated Italian liqueurs in the world. It is an amaro that originates from an ancient Calabrian recipe, still today passed down in the version handed down from generation to generation. Its unique personality is the result of over a century of experience in the research and selection of botanicals typical of the local flora, carefully crafted while respecting the long production processes of the past. Its fresh and fragrant notes, its strong and persistent aromas, perfectly express the warm and Mediterranean face of the land of Calabria.

Vecchio Amaro del Capo is the flagship of the Calabrian distillery Caffo. It is an herbal liqueur that represents the historical memory of a great Italian brand. The base recipe has been continuously updated and improved over time thanks to the creative contribution of each generation, which has been able to give a valuable contribution to a product of great quality. The production process still follows the oldest teachings, with infusion in alcohol of the botanicals to slowly extract all the fragrances and aromas. Always famous for its persistent delicate taste, it was the first amaro to be served frozen. Its fame has crossed national borders and in 2010 it was awarded the gold medal at the Brussels world competition. Its active ingredients, extracted from medicinal herbs, aid digestion and provide a pleasant feeling of freshness.

Vecchio Amaro del Capo by Caffo is made with 29 Calabrian herbs, flowers, fruits, and roots, including: bitter orange, sweet orange, licorice, mandarin, chamomile, juniper, peppermint, anise seeds, and many secret ingredients. It is particularly appreciated for its delicate taste, with aromas that are not too strong and with balanced notes, not excessively bitter. In the glass, it presents a rather dark amber color with brilliant reflections. Elegant and rich, it offers notes of aromatic herbs from the Mediterranean scrub, soft spices, caramel, citrus peel, medicinal and balsamic herbs. The sip
