"Uis Neris" Magnum is a Friuli red wine with an intense, deep and rustic profile that is matured for 22 months in oak. A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, it exhibits a deep and textural texture, rich in savoury and wild hints, with herbaceous sensations, ripe red fruit, undergrowth and earthy memories

The Uis Neris Dodon by Denis Montanar in Magnum version is a great Friulian red made by one of the most original and beloved vignerons by enthusiasts in search of authentic and genuine wines. It is a classic Bordeaux blend produced with a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, two red grape varieties that have been present in these lands for centuries and have adapted well to the climate and soils of Friuli. The large format allows for the best appreciation of the wine's slow aromatic evolution, which, while retaining the typical varietal notes, begins to enrich itself with tertiary hints that enhance its rich bouquet.

The Uis Neris Dodon Magnum wine by Denis Montanar is produced in an estate located in Villa Vicentina, in the province of Udine. A representative of the fourth generation of farmers in the area, Denis has decided to focus decisively on wine and manage the property according to the principles of organic farming. The vineyards cover an area of about 10 hectares and are cultivated with the classic grapes of the area: Friulano, Refosco, Verduzzo, Sauvignon, Cabernet and Merlot. The mild climate and sandy soils, with the presence of clay and silt, allow for the production of excellent grapes. In the winery, a light enology is practiced, trying to intervene as little as possible in the winemaking processes. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes come from a vineyard of less than one hectare that is over 30 years old. The harvest is done manually, and the grapes are spontaneously fermented using only indigenous yeasts in open oak vats, with classic skin maceration. The wine matures for about 2 years in oak barrels and is bottled in its entirety, without undergoing filtration or clarification operations.

The Uis Neris Dodon Magnum red perfectly expresses the simple and direct style typical of the entire range of Denis Montanar's labels. His wines are the result of work aimed at privileging and bringing to the forefront the terroir and the personality of the grape varieties, without mediation. Of a dark ruby red tending to garnet, it offers intense aromas of small dark berries, wild blackberry, black currant, cherry, red plum, hints
