The white Trebbiano d’Abruzzo created by Tiberio is an expressive and identity-driven product, made in light of the main philosophy of the winery, which, since the beginning of its activity in 2004, aims to "make quality wine that clearly expresses the varietal and the land of origin." A goal more than achieved with this label, which tells its story with varied aromas and a refreshing mineral palate, finishing with a typical almond finish. A bottle that never gets boring.
This Trebbiano d’Abruzzo is made by the Tiberio winery using the same grapes, used in purity. The vines of this variety are over fifty years old and grow in vineyards located at an altitude of about 350 meters above sea level, rooting in a clayey-limestone subsoil, where the presence of sandstone rocks is found. Among the rows, the work is carried out following biodynamic farming practices. The grapes, once harvested during the harvest phase, cold maceration, remaining on the skins for 6 hours. The must is obtained by gravity, without the need for any pressing, and the subsequent fermentation occurs spontaneously, in stainless steel containers at a temperature between 16 and 17 degrees. The aging takes place in the bottle and lasts for a few months.
The Trebbiano d’Abruzzo made by the Tiberio winery presents itself with a straw-yellow color, crossed by reflections tending more towards greenish at the rim. The array of aromas that spreads to the nose highlights concentrated notes of fruit, enriched by more floral nuances. On the palate it is light-bodied, savory, and fresh, with a perfectly balanced taste development. It finishes with a persistent finish, telling of an almond aftertaste. A white wine from the Tiberio winery that is extremely versatile in the kitchen, pairing well with a wide range of recipes and ingredients.
