"Simandro" from the wonderful Tenuta Ca' Sciampagne winery in the Marche region is a delicate, crystal-clear white wine, excellent for aperitifs and light lunches. After manual harvesting of the grapes and soft pressing, fermentation proceeds spontaneously and no clarification or filtration of any kind is carried out before bottling. The bright straw yellow colour accompanies notes of white flowers and fruit. The taste is fresh, gentle, mineral and harmonious.

The dry white wine ‘Simandro’ from the Marche winery Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne represents a pure and dynamic expression, made under certified organic conditions without the use of pesticides, fully respecting the varietal and territorial characteristics. It is a bottle produced only in the years deemed to have exceptional quality, starting from grapes from vines planted in 1986. The name “Simandro” comes from the union of the names Simone and Alessandro, sons of Paola Grillo, the owner of the winery. The design of the curious and unique label recalls the back of postcards.

Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne ‘Simandro’ is made from a white grape variety, Bianchello, grown according to the principles of certified organic agriculture on clay-limestone soils rich in minerals. Following manual harvesting and meticulous selection, the grapes are destemmed and then softly pressed. The must is allowed to naturally decant and is subsequently started to alcoholic fermentation thanks to the intervention of indigenous yeasts. Throughout the entire winemaking process, the wine undergoes neither clarification nor filtration.

In the glass, the ‘Simandro’ from Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne takes on a graceful bright straw-yellow hue. The nose, fine and elegant, is characterized by floral aromas of elderflower and hawthorn associated with hints of fresh fruit. Dry, harmonious, and delicate on the palate, marked by remarkable freshness and agile progression. An artisanal and true white, the result of a natural production philosophy capable of offering interpretations true to tradition. Due to its natural finesse, ‘Simandro’ pairs excellently with delicate first courses and various fish dishes.
