Sauvignon Prail by Colterenzio is a pleasant and aromatic expression, obtained from vines rooted in mineral-rich morainic soils. On the nose, it releases aromas of exotic fruit, citrus, aromatic herbs, and white flowers, and on the palate, the alcohol content is brilliantly tempered by a courteous freshness and a striking minerality.

This white wine Sauvignon “Prail” is a beautiful demonstration of what can be achieved when there is a perfect synergy between land, man, and grape. It is a measured, almost didactic bottle, in which the Sauvignon manages to show itself with all its beauty and its olfactory peculiarities. A well-made label, which receives the approval of many enthusiasts, as well as the main Italian industry critics. If you are planning to organize a fish dinner, you have found the wine for you!

The Sauvignon “Prail” is made from the homonymous grapes in purity, which the Colterenzio team cultivates with care and dedication on slopes characterized by a mainly calcareous subsoil of morainic origin, located at an altitude between 400 and 500 meters above sea level. The yields are low, a characteristic that unites all the labels of the winery, and never exceed 55 hectoliters per hectare. The grapes, once harvested during the harvest, ferment alcoholically in steel containers for a period of two weeks. Then we moves on to the final phase of aging, in which the wine remains in contact with its own yeasts for 6 months in steel, at the end of which it is ready to be bottled and marketed.

The “Prail” Sauvignon presents itself, upon visual examination, with a light straw color, not too pronounced. The bouquet of aromas that develops on the nose highlights typically varietal notes, where boxwood and aromatic herbs stand out as undisputed protagonists of the olfactory profile. On the palate, it is light-bodied, slender, and drinkable, with a sip characterized by a salty and mineral taste, perfectly balanced in each of its components. An elegant Alto Adige white, which once again confirms Colterenzio's great ability to unite more than 300 contributing members into artisanal labels of excellent quality.
