Artisanal
Organic and biodynamicThe Sauvignon 'Lieben Aich' from the South Tyrolean winery Manincor is a structured and elegant white wine made from Sauvignon Blanc, aged for 10 months in oak barrels. On the nose, it expresses intense notes of tropical fruit lightened by slight citrus nuances, which return on the palate in a full and enveloping sip, but refreshed by pleasant mineral hints and a good acidity, which supports a long and clean finish. A wine with great evolutionary potential, to be left in the cellar for a few years to allow it to express its deep softness at its best.
The Sauvignon “Lieben Aich” by Manincor is one of the most important wines from this famous winery in Alto Adige. It is part of the Corona Collection, dedicated to the labels made from the grapes of the oldest vineyards of the estate and cultivated in areas that have been renowned for centuries as some of the most suitable in the region. Carefully selected plots, vinified very delicately, with the sole aim of achieving maximum purity and excellent richness and aromatic complexity. Its extraordinary taste balance makes it perfect to enjoy with shellfish, seafood, or with noble fish cooked in the oven.
The “Lieben Aich” Sauvignon is an excellence from one of the most famous estates in Alto Adige. The Manincor winery is located on the shores of Lake Caldaro, in an area that has always been very suitable for viticulture and owns other estates in prestigious areas of the region, allowing it to cultivate each grape variety in the most suitable place. The wine is produced in the Tenuta Lieben Aich in Terlano. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level and enjoy beautiful sunny exposures facing southwest and a mild microclimate. The soil is composed of the disintegration of ancient volcanic porphyry rocks and is characterized by an abundant presence of quartz and clay sands rich in minerals. At the end of the harvest, the destemmed grapes are left to macerate for twelve hours to enrich the aromas from contact with the skins. After a gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in wooden barrels using only indigenous yeasts. The wine ages for twelve months in oak barrels.

The bouquet expresses intense aromas of tropical fruit, papaya, mango, passion fruit, ripe white-fleshed fruit, floral nuances, and herbs medicinal herbs. Rich and broad, it has a enveloping and deep sip, harmonious and persistent, with a long finish characterized by a pleasant mineral freshness.
