The Sauvignon from Feudi di Romans is a Friulian white produced in steel tanks that masterfully interprets the typical aromatic profile of the varietal. The nose is intense and graceful, with typical aromas of tomato leaf, boxwood, light notes of pepper, and exotic fruit. The palate is fresh, pleasantly savory, inviting, and pairs well at the table.

The Sauvignon from Feudi di Romans is a wine that tells the particular vocation of the Friulian terroir for the production of excellent whites. Here the varietal reigns supreme, expressing itself on the nose with the most classic and characteristic aromas, a prelude to a sip that is equally typical, where the herbaceous component blends with a pleasant underlying minerality. A label with a pronounced aromatic silhouette, coherent, essential, and rigorous, which among its many virtues also has the ability to be easily paired at the table. If you want to try it with a typically regional pairing, taste it with grilled eel.

The Sauvignon wine from Feudi di Romans originates from grapes grown in the vineyards that line the banks of the Isonzo River. Here the terroir is characterized by being composed mainly of gravel, sand, and pebbles. The best grapes, selected through the destemming operations of the bunches, are gently pressed; followed by a brief cryomaceration, in order to extract the maximum aromas present in each grape. The subsequent fermentation of the must takes place in tanksof stainless steel at a controlled temperature, and has a total duration of 9 days. It then continues with the final phase of aging, during which the wine remains to refine on the lees for 3 months in stainless steel containers.

This Feudi di Romans Sauvignon presents itself visually with a classic straw yellow color, crossed by slight flashes tending towards greenish. The nose is the exaltation of the grape variety used, with hints of tomato leaves alternating with notes of boxwood, seasoned with a fruity touch leaning towards the exotic. Agile and fresh, it enters the palate with a light and smooth sip, which tells itself through a savory and herbaceous taste. A Friulian white truly not to be missed, also considering the excellent quality-price ratio at which it is offered!
