The Diplomatico “Distillery Collection N° 1 Single Kettle Batch” is a Rum that encapsulates the essence of Venezuelan Rum, made in only a few bottles. The “Distillery Collection N° 1 Single Kettle Batch” Diplomatico is a Rum that originates from the distillation of molasses and the pure juice of different species of sugar cane. The fermentation of the molasses lasts for 18 hours, while the pure juice is fermented slightly longer, for 48 hours. Distillation then proceeds, using a still that operates following the discontinuous method, according to the Canadian Batch Kettle system. Once the processing is completed, the Rum is aged for 6 years in American white oak barrels, previously used for aging Bourbon.
