The "Centenario" Flor de Cana 18 Years is a Rum made by the Flor de Cana distillery, a historic brand from Nicaragua. For five generations, the Pellas family has carried on the ancient local customs and produces a range of labels of excellent quality level, aimed at the most attentive and demanding enthusiasts. One of the secrets of the distillery lies in its fortunate geographical location, right at the foot of the famous San Cristobal volcano. The lands of lava, lapilli, and ashes are particularly rich in mineral elements and allow for the cultivation of a high-quality sugar cane, from which a dense and full-bodied molasses can be extracted. The processing is based on five distillations, which allow for exceptional finesse and very elegant aromas. The distillate ages for 18 years in oak barrels previously used for Bourbon in the warm and humid Caribbean climate.
