Rum Bumbu is a handcrafted distillate produced from high quality raw materials, such as the best sugar cane selected in 8 Caribbean countries and the clear and pure water of Barbados naturally filtered from the atoll. Aging in oak barrels for 15 years gives a soft, rich and pleasantly sweet sip that smells of walnuts, vanilla, oak and melted caramel

The Rum Bumbu is a rich and complex distillate, still prepared today with great artisanal care, in full respect of the centuries-old Caribbean tradition. It is unmistakable at first glance. The unique bottle, lacking a proper label, is distinguished by the presence of an X that recalls the classic symbol of the Jolly Roger, the famous flag of the Pirates. To reinforce the historical connotation of the packaging, the choice to use a large cork stopper left visible also contributes. The content does not betray expectations; we are faced with a great Rum created with excellent raw materials and aged for a long time in fine barrels. To be tasted neat to appreciate its complexity and persistence.

The Bumbu Rum is a bottle of absolute excellence, coming from a land that for over four centuries has produced some of the best Rums in the Caribbean. It is the result of a research project for the best excellences of the Caribbean area. The raw material, in fact, consists of different varieties of sugar cane from 8 Caribbean countriesand South America: Barbados, Belize, Brazil, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guyana, and Honduras. A choice that gives the Rum extraordinary complexity, harmony, and expressive balance. The distillation takes place using continuous stills, which guarantee remarkable purity and aromatic richness. The Rum ages for 15 years in oak barrels and is reduced in proof before bottling using pure water from the springs of Barbados.

The Rum Bumbu is a great aging distillate, ideal for those who prefer rich softness and the prevalence of intense tertiary aromas, resulting from the very long period of aging in wood. It presents itself with a rather intense amber color, with bright reddish reflections that lean towards mahogany. On the nose, it is characterized by a particularly rich and intense, broad and dense aromatic profile, with scents of vanilla, soft oriental spices, honeyed and caramel sweetness, aromas of dried fruit, almond, walnuts, and hazelnuts, hints of cocoa and dark chocolate, toasted nuances of noble woods androasting memories. On the palate, it is enveloping and structured, with a very deep sip, warm, aromatically broad and persistent, that stretches towards a long and harmonious finish.
