The Peruvian Rum “10° Aniversario” is a distillate that Millonario creates starting from the molasses of the native South American sugarcane, cultivated in the Rubia and Blanca varieties. Fermentation occurs thanks to the use of local yeasts, and distillation, the central moment in the creation of this product, employs a majestic Scottish still, dated 1938. At the end of the processing, the Rum is aged, following the rules of the Solera method, in oak barrels that once contained Sherry, placed inside premises located at sea level. An important condition that allows taking advantage of the unique position of the Millonario distillery, situated between the sea and the mountains, almost near the Equator.

The “10° Aniversario” Rum presents itself to the eye with a beautiful amber color, warm and inviting. The olfactory spectrum moves on delicate and subtle sensations, telling a story woven with intertwining, where candied fruit mingles with citrus notes and spicier touches, deriving from the aging period spent in wood. On the palate, it is velvety, broad, and enveloping, with a sip that brings back the taste of raisins and dried fruit. A distillate of Peruvian origin with which Millonario, a prestigious entity linked to Rum production, acquired in the 90s by Rossi & Rossi of Treviso, presents a label that makes evenings spent with friends truly unforgettable.
