"Fork and Knives" by Nestarec is a juicy and agile red wine from Moravia, eastern part of the Czech Republic. As the name which translated means "fork and knife" suggests, it is a blend of Pinot Noir, Cabernet and Blaufränkisch endowed with great gastronomic power and an ideal ally for the daily table. Vibrant freshness and with a slender, dynamic and authentic body, characterized by great fullness of fruit and appreciable tannins, it spreads vegetal notes, wild berries, undergrowth and black cherry to the nose.Artisanal and Triple A wine

The Rosso ‘Forks ‘n’ Knives’ by Milan Nestarec is a label with a light and convivial personality, never tiring, produced through a blend of black grape varieties. With his wines, the young artisan producer Milan Nestarec has established himself as a reference point in the wine scene of Moravia, a wine-growing area of the Czech Republic. The name “forks and knives” and the fun label suggest how this wine shows its best at the table. In fact, through the accessibility and versatility of the ‘Forks ‘n’ Knives’, Milan intends to emphasize that for him, wine consumption should not be limited to special occasions, but should become a fundamental part of everyday meals.

Milan Nestarec produces his Rosso ‘Forks ‘n’ Knives’ in the locality of Moravský Žižkov starting from a blend of the grape varieties Pinot Nero, Blaufränkisch, and Saint Laurent. The vineyards, about 25 years old, are organically cultivated on clayey soils, located at an altitude of 210 meters. After manual harvesting, the grapes are destemmed but not crushed, in order to avoid excessive extraction, with the subsequent alcoholic fermentation occurring spontaneously in stainless steel tanks. The maceration on the skins lasts for over 35 total days while the subsequent maturation period of a few months takes place in used French and Austrian oak barrels. Throughout the entire process, the mass undergoes no clarification, filtration, or sulfitation.

Cherry red is the color of the ‘Forks ‘n’ Knives’ Milan Nestarec, which on the nose reveals clear hints of sour cherry and berries, combined with pleasant vegetal and earthy notes. The taste is dynamic, very juicy and fruity, fresh, and with pleasant tannins. A Czech red wine designed for immediate consumption, best enjoyed at the table in a convivial atmosphere.
