The Rosato by Sette, a Monferrato winery, is a fresh, jaunty rosé made from local and international red grapes. It is a selection of a few bottles, made from grapes from young vines. The nose has aromas of berries, red and black, as well as hints of citrus and spice. Pleasantly 'funky', it is fresh and drinkable, really pleasant and juicy

The Rosé from the small Piedmontese winery Sette is a label with a stimulating and engaging sip created following a genuine agronomic and oenological approach. Within its vineyards located in the UNESCO heritage territory of Nizza Monferrato, the Sette estate cultivates the traditional varieties Grignolino, Moscato Bianco, and especially Barbera, a grape that in this area probably reaches its highest qualitative expression. Not surprisingly, it seems that Monferrato represents the cradle of this ancient grape, as suggested by a document dated the 17th century, now preserved at the municipality of Nizza Monferrato, which refers to Barbera by its current name for the first time. Furthermore, in the 1800s, several scholars referred to the grape as “Vitis vinifera montisferratensis.” The label depicts a mullet, referencing the “spiny” character of this wine.

Sette Rosato is made from a single black grape variety cultivated according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture. The plants are approximately 15 years old and are rooted in complex soils low in organic matter. Following manual harvesting, the grapes undergo direct pressing, without maceration, followed by spontaneous alcoholic fermentation carried out by indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks.

Visually, Sette Rosato expresses a light cherry pink color. The nose presents sensations of blackberry, orange peel, and plum, surrounded by hints of white pepper. Savory and refreshing on the palate, it offers a rustic, drinkable, and juicy progression. It finishes smoothly with enticing mineral and fruity sensations.
