Riesling 'R' Kofererhof 2023
The Riesling "R" by Kofererhof is an Alto Adige white wine made from vineyards located in the Novacella and Varna area, in the province of Bolzano. It presents itself with a pale yellow color with greenish reflections and expresses an intense and characteristic bouquet with notes of peach, tropical fruit like mango and pineapple, and rocky mineral details. On the palate, it is elegant and aromatic, with great freshness and marked sapidity, finishing structured and persistent.
The special vinification reserved for this label of Kofererhof allows for a wide and complex structure in the finished product. The wine resulting from the late harvest enriches the body in terms of structure and softness and gives it a golden yellow color, tending towards amber. The aromas are intense, of white flowers, honey, and mango. Fine mineral notes emerge on the nose, and are also found on the palate, where the salinity and freshness typical of this grape are in perfect balance with its sweet and round nature. Excellent to drink immediately, if stored in the cellar for a few years it shows great longevity.
