The Sorsi e Parole d’Autore – ‘Terror from Valtellina’ box is a set that evokes stories of terror and witches with the Sforzato della Valtellina Le Strie and the book ‘Tales of Terror’ by American writer Edgar Allan Poe. The symbol of the Le Strie winery is, in fact, the witches, “le strie” in Valtellinese dialect, representing the darkest and most mysterious face of Valtellina. This small artisanal reality, located in Ponte in Valtellina, was born in 2003 from the commitment and passion of Stefano, Paolo, Luciana, and Marisa, who are strongly determined to enhance the territory by unleashing the full qualitative potential of its most important grape: Nebbiolo. As for the book ‘Tales of Terror’, it is a collection of gothic and horror stories published back in 1845.
