The Prosecco from Valdobbiadene Extra Brut vintage is the most representative sparkling wine of Silvano Follador, produced in small quantities using the Charmat Method and without added sugar. It presents a crystalline, clear, and fresh personality, with floral aromas and a dry, tense, and lively taste.

The Extra Brut by Silvano Follador is a Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore crystalline and deep, in which the aromatic intensity of the “mix” of grape varieties used in the final blend (alongside Glera, there are indeed more “forgotten” varieties typical of the territory) reaches important peaks of incisiveness. We are faced with a label that highlights the most authentic and genuine side of Valdobbiadene, sought by Silvano in a craft perspective where the terroir is the undisputed protagonist of the sip. A must-try.

The Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Extra Brut is made by Silvano Follador starting from a blend where, alongside the reference grape of the denomination, Glera, we also find small percentages of Verdiso, Perera, and Bianchetta. The must undergoes the first fermentation in steel and concrete tanks spontaneously, thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts, remaining on the fine lees for a total of 6 months. The second fermentation occurs subsequently, following the production principles of the Martinotti Method, and at the end of the production process no sugar dosage is added

The Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Silvano Follador presents itself to the eye with a light straw yellow color, crossed by a perlage of fine and subtle bubbles. The range of notes that emerge on the nose opens up to a floral pathway, which in its evolution is enriched by hints of stone fruit and white pulp, as well as references to aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is light-bodied, with a fresh and drinkable sip, which makes the drinking smooth. A bottle that fully enhances the typicity of the Glera grape, in a production approach aimed at achieving maximum expressiveness.
