The Pinot Noir “Les Pierres Dorées” is a round, fresh and elegant red wine from Burgundy, born from vine from Beaujolais area and aged in steel tanks and oak barrels. It has a balanced and delicate profile, with nuances of wild berries, spices and red flowers and a very fresh, pleasant and persistent taste

The Pinot Noir “Les Pierres Dorées” is produced by Domaine Louis Latour using grapes from vineyards cultivated in the Beaujolais area. A wine that aims to be a younger, fresher, and less complex alternative to classic Pinot Noir from Burgundy. A medium-bodied red, focusing on the finesse of fruity aromas, on expressive immediacy, and on great drinkability. The bouquet is crisp, with notes of small berries, the sip is fresh with fine tannins and good final persistence.

The red “Les Pierres Dorées” is a pure Pinot Noir produced by Louis Latour, one of the most important names in Burgundy, which owns vineyards from Côte-d’Or to Beaujolais. This interesting label comes from the southern area of Les Pierres Dorées. The calcareous soils rich in iron oxide have proven to be very suitable for a demanding grape variety like Pinot Noir. The vineyards are located in the territory of the municipalities of Morancé and Theizé, at an altitude between 280 and 400 meters, with a very cool

and sunny. At the end of the harvest, the classic red winemaking process is followed with skin maceration. The wine then ages for a period of 10/12 months partly in steel and partly in French oak barrels.

The “Les Pierres Dorées” is the result of a successful bet by Louis Latour, who believed in the potential of this area of Beaujolais to produce a Pinot Noir with an interesting profile characterized by a strong territorial personality. The wine has a bright ruby red color, with slight garnet hues. The olfactory profile is fresh and fragrant, with delicate aromas of small red berries, floral touches, and spicy nuances. On the palate, it has a good structure with a fruity sip of pleasant smoothness and harmony, also thanks to delicate tannins and a pleasantly fresh finish.
