Pinot Nero Bressan 2021
ArtisanalThe Pinot Noir by Bressan is a still red wine, full-bodied and intense, elegant and dry, rich in notes of underbrush and spices, aged in oak barrels
The Pinot Noir from Bressan is a unique wine with a flamboyant personality, just like its producer. Indeed, once you put your nose in the glass, Fulvio's wine leaves an impression like few others in the memory of those who approach it, to the point of being recognized even in blind tastings due to its captivating profile. The same considerations apply to its theatrical producer, Fulvio Bressan, a deep connoisseur of vineyard and territory and an uncontrollable storyteller, capable of conveying a visceral passion for everything related to his world. The cultivated grape varieties are those of the local tradition such as Schioppettino, Verduzzo, Moscato Rosa, Verduzzo, Friulano, Ribolla, and Malvasia, alongside Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio. From the land to the glass without any filter, except for a deep knowledge and attention to the ripening of the grapes. Each bottle is nonetheless an exciting and engaging story.
The Pinot Noir from Bressan is obtained from pure grapes of the same variety. Fulvio's belief is clear as his thoughts, therefore the vineyard must express the power of the place and the grape, without any interference from chemical or synthetic products. To an agriculture that therefore only allows the use of a bit of copper and sulfur corresponds a coherent work in the cellar, which involves spontaneous alcoholic fermentation and long macerations on the skins. It ages for 2 years in large oak barrels.
The Pinot Noir from Bressan presents itself in the glass with a luminous and transparent ruby hue. An enchanting and stunning nose for intensity and variety of descriptors, where black pepper stands out clearly quickly followed by all the earthy and underbrush aspects, and by vegetal bursts reminiscent of tomato. A kaleidoscopic nectar, even on the palate where it shows itself sumptuous, and endowed with a fascinating texture also thanks to a silky and polished tannin. A cyclone!
