The Pinot Grigio from the famous Alto Adige winery of Elena Walch is part of the Selezione range, which includes a series of labels created to highlight the varietal character of the main grape varieties historically grown in the Termeno area. Delicate vinifications and aging in steel enhance the direct and clear expression of the aromatic profiles of the grapes, focusing entirely on the fruit's fragrance. It is a young, direct, fresh, and fruity wine, characterized by an immediate pleasantness on the palate. It is a beautiful version of a grape variety that is always very much loved in both the national and international markets.
The Pinot Grigio wine is one of the classic labels of Elena Walch. The winery has managed to maintain a family character and has been among the best interpreters of the Alto Adige territory for many years. Its wines are now recognized as true ambassadors of the region, particularly of the beautiful and sunny hilly area of Termeno. The Pinot Grigio is produced with a selection of grapes from different vineyards of the estate, grown in the hilly area of Termeno. At the end of the harvest operations, the grapes are gently pressed and the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20°C. Before the final bottling, the wine matures for several months on its own yeasts in steel tanks, in order to preserve the rich varietal fragrance typical of the grape variety.
