Muscadet Seigneur from Le Fay D'Homme winery is a wine made from 100% Melon de Bourgogne grapes. Following a harvest from its 60-year-old vineyards, the alcoholic fermentation is carried on by means of indigenous yeasts, and finally the wine is aged a few months on the fine lees. The nose is delicate with white fruit notes, hints of wild flowers and mineral aromas that open a juicy, consistent and balanced sip.

The Muscadet Seigneur by Le Fay d'Homme is a French wine, originating from the Loire Valley, specifically in the heart of the Appellation Muscadet Sèvre et Maine with a very large area of interest that spans the region from east to west, reaching close to the Ocean. The winery is currently managed by the fifth generation and has long passed down the passion and care for the land with the perspective of making the most of it, choosing to avoid any type of chemical intervention in the vineyard in respect of the spontaneous growth phases of nature. Vincent Caillé now wisely leads the winery, creating rare and unique products.

The Melon de Bourgogne grapes come from vineyards about 60 years old with a south/south-west exposure towards Monnières, a good position for excellent fruit maturation. The soil is entirely composed of Gneiss, a metamorphic rock made up of minerals that give good structure to the wines; the climate is oceanic: mild winters with the influence of sea breezes and summers with temperatures that never exceed 30 degrees. The The harvest takes place in the first decade of September; after a night of rest, fermentation begins with indigenous yeasts; bottling occurs the following spring, after aging on the lees. No filtration or added chemicals.

The Muscadet Seigneur by Le Fay d'Homme presents itself with a straw yellow color with brilliant reflections; on the nose, a bouquet of aromas unfolds ranging from white flowers to ripe yellow fruits with mineral hints on the finish; the palate is struck by a powerful structure, but well balanced with a pleasant persistence and a fresh, saline finish. It is suitable for pairing with warm fish appetizers, shellfish, and seafood, but also with fresh and soft cheeses for an interesting end of meal. This wine is recommended for formal aperitifs and occasions of meals by the sea, enjoying the delicacies of Mediterranean cuisine, sipping a product that is the synthesis of a work that respects the rhythms of nature, seeking the best way to enhance the raw material.
