The Muller Thurgau is a mountain white wine characterized by great freshness and drinkability that originates at over 800 meters above sea level in the Bassa Atesina. It develops a very fragrant and delicate aromatic profile, composed of notes of citrus, lily of the valley, crunchy white fruit, and light memories of alpine herbs. The tasting is straight and juicy, with lively and vibrant freshness, combined with a mineral vein.

The Muller Thurgau by Peter Zemmer is a harmonious and fruity white wine, with a delicately aromatic profile. It is made from the homonymous grape variety, created at the end of the nineteenth century by crossing Riesling with Madeleine Royale. A grape that has proven particularly suitable for cold climates and mountain viticulture. The temperature excursions, in fact, allow for the production of fragrant wines, with intense aromas and remarkable freshness. Its floral, citrus, and fruity notes make it an ideal companion to enjoy at aperitif time or to accompany delicate seafood appetizers.

The Muller Thurgau by Peter Zemmer is one of the labels that best represents the personality of South Tyrolean wines and the character of the territory. The grapes for Muller Thurgau come from the Caprile vineyard, which is cultivated at a height of 800 meters above sea level, on a gentle slope overlooking the area of Bassa Atesina. The name derives from the peasant expression small sheepfold and refers to the area, once used only for grazing. The cool climate, ventilated and the soils predominantly composed of limestone, allow for the production of grapes of great finesse and elegance. After a cold maceration of 6-8 hours, the grapes are pressed very gently and the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 19 °C. The wine rests for a few months in steel tanks before being bottled for commercialization.

The Peter Zemmer Muller Thurgau perfectly illustrates the varietal typicity of the grape variety, which in the lands of South Tyrol has found the conditions to express itself very well, with particularly balanced wines. The classic fruity richness finds an excellent balance in the freshness of the altitude, making the tasting experience very pleasant. It presents a pale straw yellow color with slight greenish reflections. On the nose, it impresses with its intense aromatic richness, ranging from white flowers, to citrus, to white-fleshed fruits, to tropical notes and spicy nuances. The dense aromas give a harmonious and persistent sip, which closes with fresh and savory notes. The character of the wine of mountain in a glass.
