The Mezcal "Vida" from the Mexican distillery Del Maguey is the pure expression of artisanal Mezcal, still made today following the oldest traditions of the territory. Unlike Tequila, which is produced in the Jalisco region, Mezcal is the typical agave distillate made in the Oaxaca area. The Del Maguey distillery is famous for having recovered the most ancient production methods of small farmers from the villages in the region and for producing Mezcal of excellent quality, made with consideration for the compatibility with the natural ecosystem of the territory and particularly with the needs of wild agave, so as not to deplete the rich natural heritage.

It is a production of "Single-Village" distillates carried out by the Del Maguey brand, founded by American artist Ron Cooper. It is a Mezcal still produced today following the oldest techniques, a label that aims to stand out from industrial production to recover the authentic taste of this historic distillate. Many varieties of wild agave are also used in production, which reach maturity for harvesting after 30 years of life. The precious heart of the agave is cooked in ovens and then processed to extract the juice for fermentation and subsequent distillation.
