It is produced with a blend of three white grape varieties, which have been present in the western area of Sicily for centuries: Grillo, Catarratto, and Inzolia. The long aging in wood and the absence of sugar residues give Marsala a particularly elegant and fine profile, with refined notes of yellow fruit, soft spices, dried fruit, honey, toasted nuances, and hints of bitter cocoa.
