The "Marcovaldo" Bianco is a smooth and buttery white wine that macerates on its skins for 11 days. It shows an aromatic profile, full and enveloping with good freshness, from which aromas of oriental spices, raisins, candied citrus and pastry notes spread. Wines made with Old Style Artisanal Methods

The "Marcovaldo" Bianco from Crocizia is the delicious still wine by Marco Rizzardi, capable of combining richness and personality. Who said that white wines macerated on the skins are similar to each other? We challenge anyone, after tasting the latest gem produced by Marco, not to recognize them even blind. After all, it is undeniable that Crocizia is a well-known name among enthusiasts of artisanal wines, considered a true reference point when talking about refermented wines in the bottle, thanks to interpretations that are always enjoyable, but never taken for granted or banal. Marco's story sees him taking his first steps in the vineyard at the beginning of the 2000s, after acquiring an old farm in Langhirano in the Parma area and populating it with grape varieties dear to the local tradition. The wines also fully respect the local dimension, splendid nectars to pair with everyday cuisine and of which to have an adequate stock in the cellar. Juices for breakfast, herbal teas before falling asleep. Always, in short.

The Bianco "Marcovaldo" macerates on the skins for 11 days and is born from a veryconsistent and precise. In the vineyard, the use of any chemical or synthetic substance is banned, and only a bit of copper and sulfur is used. Even in the cellar, no additives are used, except for the addition in homeopathic doses of sulfur dioxide.

Crocizia "Marcovaldo" appears in the glass with an intense and deep yellow, shifting towards orange. The nose overwhelms those who approach it, and explodes with sweet and seductive hints of apricot, raisins, and honey, to the point that it feels like entering a pastry shop. The sip is equally rich and material, but never static. Creamy and silky on the palate, with a decidedly long finish. A perfect nectar to pair with medium/long-aged cheeses or fish preparations that involve the use of sauces.
