The Malvasia Frizzante from Monte delle Vigne is a straightforward and easy-drinking label, perfect for a glass before dinner with friends. Made using the Martinotti Method, it presents a range of typically aromatic scents, where the varietal manages to express itself with interesting notes, leading to a thin and delicate mouthfeel, where nothing is out of place. A label with which Monte delle Vigne also impresses with the final price at which it is offered, to say the least inviting.
The Malvasia Frizzante is produced by the winery starting from the homonymous grapes of Malvasia di Candia, cultivated using the guyot system and grown within a hilly terroir, characterized by a calcareous and clayey subsoil. The bunches, harvested by hand, are destemmed, and the grapes undergo a gentle pressing. The must ferments for about 20 days in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature of 18 degrees, and the sparkling process occurs during the second fermentation in autoclave, following the production principles of the Charmat Method or Martinotti. At the end of the processing, the wine is bottled and marketed.
Monte delle Vigne Malvasia Frizzante presents itself visually with a straw yellow color, crossed by a pleasant effervescence, with a fine bubble. The nose is defined by an aromatic profile, which tells of floral and mineral notes, also enriched by hints of white-fleshed fruit. On the palate, it is light-bodied, slender, and easy to drink, with a sip of excellent smoothness, finishing with a aftertaste focused on savoriness. A bottle that the Monte delle Vigne winery interprets in a youthful manner, to be enjoyed now, perfect for aperitif time.
