The Lambrusco Bianco "Biancospino" from Cantina Fangareggi is a sparkling wine with a fresh and delicate profile, which is sparkling using the Martinotti or Charmat Method. It is produced by vinifying the grapes of Lambrusco di Sorbara and Lambrusco Salamino in white. It is a sparkling, fragrant, and light wine with a great gastronomic vocation, particularly suitable for tasting at the time of the aperitif, with appetizers, raw fish, or fresh cheeses.
The Lambrusco vinified in white "Biancospino" is produced by Cantina Fangareggi with the desire to enhance the finesse characteristics that Lambrusco di Sorbara and Lambrusco Salamino can express with a delicate and careful vinification in white. The vineyards are located in medium hill areas, situated in the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Modena, which extend over a total area of 24 hectares divided into various farms, in the localities of Correggio, Campagnola, Rolo, Fabbrico, and Carpi. Thanks to careful work in the vineyard and manual harvests with selection of the best bunches, Fangareggi manages to obtain high-quality grapes, with intense aromatic profiles. At the end of the soft pressing, the vinification in white of the base wines is carried out, which are then sparkling in autoclave using the Charmat Method.
The "Biancospino" Lambrusco is a sparkling wine with lively freshness and a pleasantly refreshing sip. Its fragrance and expressive immediacy make it very suitable for convivial and carefree moments. The wine presents itself with a straw yellow color, slightly sparkling. On the nose, it opens with citrus aromas of grapefruit, lemon, hints of green apple, and nuances of white flowers. The attack on the palate is lively, with delicate fruit, which accompanies the sip towards a finish of great freshness.
