Lambrusco 'Vigna Rosa' Fangareggi
Perfect to drink every dayLambrusco “Vigna Rosa” is a subtle, pleasant, fruity and inviting semi-sparkling wine, produced according to the long Charmat Method. It smells like fresh cherries combined to nuances of bread cruts. On the palate it is refreshing, balanced, lievely and easy drinking
The Lambrusco “Vigna Rosa” is a sparkling rosé that perfectly represents the great tradition of Emilia-Romagna in the production of this type of wine. It is made from a blend of grapes historically grown in the area, Lambrusco di Sorbara, Fortana, Pinot Nero. It is sparkling according to the Martinotti or Charmat Method, which preserves all the pleasant fragrance and varietal freshness of the grapes. The fruity bouquet, rich and immediately expressive, makes this rosé ideal for pairing with appetizers and first courses of Emilia cuisine, such as gnocco fritto, tigelle, or with fish dishes with rich and flavorful meats.
The Lambrusco “Vigna Rosa” is produced by Fangareggi with grapes from vineyards cultivated in the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Modena, in the areas of Canolo di Correggio, Campagnola, Rolo, Fabbrico, and Carpi, covering a total of 24 hectares. The vineyards are managed using an integrated pest management protocol, which involves minimal use of fertilizers, pesticides, and fungicides, in order to make viticulture increasingly compatible with the surrounding natural environment. The grapes of Lambrusco di Sorbara, Fortana, and Pinot Nero are hand-harvested with selection of the best bunches in the vineyard. After soft pressing and winemaking with a short fermentation on the skins, the fermentation of the must flower takes place. The base wine is then transferred to an autoclave for the sparkling process and long Charmat method refermentation, with a stay on the lees for several months.
The “Vigna Rosa” is a fresh and fragrant sparkling wine. A label of great territorial typicity, both for the choice of grape varieties used and for the lively character of the wine. In the glass, it presents a rather intense confetti pink color, crossed by a slight effervescent verve. On the nose, it expresses aromas of rose petal, cherry, sour cherry, wild strawberries, raspberry, and notes of bread crust. The taste is intense and lively, with crunchy fruit and a pleasant final freshness.
