The Lambrusco di Sorbara "Radice" by Paltrinieri is a fresh and elegant sparkling wine refermented in the bottle. The color is pale and bright with pink foam, the aromatic profile is dry, fresh, and crisp, rich in fragrant aromas of roses and red fruit

The Lambrusco di Sorbara “Radice” by Paltrinieri is a wine born in the heart of Sorbara, the homeland of Lambrusco. Alberto Paltrinieri has decided since 1998 to cultivate and work exclusively with the Lambrusco grape, focusing on extreme care and the quality of the final product. Thanks to the teachings of his grandfather and his studies, Alberto chooses to go against the grain and fully orient his production towards the enhancement of the intrinsic characteristics of the territory and towards the absolute respect of every phase of growth and development of the plant and the raw material for a wine of rare quality.

The vineyards of Lambrusco di Sorbara “Radice” by Paltrinieri are located in the locality “Cristo” in Sorbara and extend for about 15 hectares. The soil is lush and welcoming, thanks to the massive presence of minerals and water, due to the presence of the Secchia and Panaro rivers that flow through the entire province of Modena: schist, silt, sand, and organic substances represent the perfect combination for fragrant grapes. Human intervention in the vineyard is kept to a minimum and is solely oriented towards the principles of organic farming, excluding any type of synthetic chemical substance. The harvest begins in mid-September; in the winery, the must undergoes alcoholic fermentation in steel and a second fermentation in the bottle on indigenous yeasts. It is bottled in March following the harvest and rests here for a few months.

Visually, the Lambrusco di Sorbara “Radice” by Paltrinieri appears as a bright salmon pink with an intense and persistent perlage. The aromas recall grapefruit, wild strawberries, and hints of wild rose and summer white flowers; on the palate it is easy-drinking and inviting with good freshness and sapidity that encourages glass after glass. It pairs perfectly with dishes based on smoked salmon, raw fish tartare, and fried fish; also excellent with medium-aged cured meats and first courses based on stuffed pasta. Ideal for lunches in the company of lifelong friends in cheer, enjoying a product with genuine and authentic flavors.
