The ‘ReMinore’ by Madrevite is a pure Trebbiano Spoletino to be appreciated for its sincere and balanced character, as well as for its good organoleptic complexity. As the name suggests, Trebbiano Spoletino is an indigenous grape variety from Umbria belonging to the vast family of Trebbiani, which usually gives rise to fresh and very fruity wines, with a soft and rather full body. Among the foundations embraced by the Madrevite estate is the desire to produce exclusively monovarietal wines, in order to emphasize the qualities of the cultivated grape varieties and to showcase their affinity with the Trasimeno territory.
Madrevite ‘ReMinore’ comes from only Trebbiano Spoletino grapes grown without the use of synthetic chemical products on predominantly clayey soils, with a concurrent presence of sands. The vines, about 20 years old, benefit from a northwest exposure and an altitude of 320 meters above sea level. Once harvested, the bunches are immediately transferred to the winery and vinified in white through soft pressing and spontaneous alcoholic fermentation of the must managed by only indigenous yeasts at a controlled temperature of 16 °C. The maturation period, which lasts for 6 months, takes place in stainless steel tanks on the fine lees, and after a few months of further resting in the bottle, the wine is ready for market release.
The Trebbiano Spoletino ‘ReMinore’ from the Madrevite winery has a straw yellow color with golden reflections. An inviting olfactory range in its aromas of yellow apple, peach, and lemon zest that blend with hints of wildflowers and exotic fruit. Refined mineral notes complete the aromatic weave. The sip, fresh and vertical, reveals excellent complexity and good structure, as well as a pleasant savory finish.
