'Il Cadetto' Saetti 2023

“Il Cadetto” from Vigneto Saetti is a sparkling rosé produced in the province of Modena with pure Lambrusco Salamino di Santa Croce grapes. Its lively bouquet expresses delicate aromas, with floral notes, fresh fruity aromas of cherry and small berries. A wine genuine and sincere, fragrant and direct, that well represents the tradition of the territory and the varietal characteristics of Lambrusco. A label that enhances the pleasantness and ease of drinking, highlighting its convivial vocation, capable of cheering up every moment of the day.

"Il Cadetto” comes from old vines of Lambrusco Salamino di Santa Croce, which are over 40 years old and are trained on trellises, under organic farming practices, on the first slopes of the gentle Emilian hills. The grapes are hand-harvested and once in the winery, fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of about 21 C°, with a short maceration on the skins lasting only 3 days and the use of indigenous yeasts. The wine is bottled in the springfollowing the harvest. The refermentation occurs in the bottle, inside cellars that offer ideal humidity and temperature conditions.  Once the aging period on the fine lees, which lasts at least 6 months, is completed, disgorgement is carried out without the addition of sulfites.

The wine “Il Cadetto”, produced by Vigneto Saetti, is a lively rosé, which captivates with its refreshing sip and its delicately fruity profile. A wine that combines the ancient tradition of sparkling lambrusco with modern taste, which favors fragrant and immediate wines. In the glass, it has a beautiful intense pink color, with a creamy foam and a fine and lively perlage. On the nose, it expresses aromas of rose petal, violet, wildflowers, and aromas of small red berries and cherry. On the palate, it is pleasantly refreshing, with a nimble sip, delicate and crunchy fruit.
