“Giorgio Primo” La Massa is a prestigious Bordeaux blend, rightfully ranked among the finest labels of this type of wine produced in the Tuscan land. It is the flagship wine of the company, a Supertuscan crafted with a meticulous selection of the best grapes sourced exclusively from the estate's most suitable parcels. It is an elegant, complex, and profound wine, created to last over time and offer splendid emotions to those who know how to wait.

The “Giorgio Primo” wine by La Massa is born from the desire to create a label of absolute excellence in the splendid territory of Panzano in Chianti. The particularly suitable clay and galestro soils, the wonderful hillside exposures at 350 meters above sea level, and the cool, breezy climate are the foundations upon which a great wine is built. Only after careful zoning work and evaluation of the grapes from various vineyards were the parcels chosen for the production of “Giorgio Primo”. The harvest in small crates is followed by arigorous selection in the cellar on the sorting table. Only the best grapes proceed to fermentation, which occurs spontaneously using only indigenous yeasts. The wine matures for 18 months in new oak barrels for 80%. Only after thorough tastings is the final blend determined, which, after bottling, rests in the cellar for several months before being released for sale.

The red “Giorgio Primo” by La Massa confirms every year the absolute quality now achieved by this extraordinary label. A Supertuscan born in the Chianti Classico area, capable of illuminating the region with excellence. The color is intense red. The aromatic profile presents great complexity and elegance with aromas of small dark berries, hints of jam, nuances of aromatic herbs, spices, leather, and tobacco. On the palate, it has a remarkable structure, with a tannic texture of great finesse and a very persistent and pleasantly fresh finish.
