The Gin “Sunset” Panarea is a distillate inspired by the summer and Mediterranean atmospheres, evoked also by the name of the famous island of the Sicilian archipelago of the Aeolian Islands. It is a fresh, citrusy Gin, with pleasant balsamic notes, Mediterranean scrub, and a characteristic touch of basil, which makes it uniquely and inimitably distinctive. The “Sunset” Panarea is produced by the Distilleria Lorenzo Inga with the desire to reconnect to its oldest roots and traditions. The company is based in Serravalle Scrivia, but the family, which has been producing quality distillates for five generations, is originally from Noto. One can understand the choice to propose a Gin inspired by the climate and scents of southern Italy, created with grain alcohol, distilled juniper and lemon, infused with spices, basil, and citrus fruits. The Panarea “Sunset” Gin is a distillate with aromatic, fruity and citrusy scents of great freshness and balance. Delicate and smooth, it seems to reflect in the glass the enchanting and sunny atmosphere of the Aeolian Islands, where many of the essences used for the Gin mix grow spontaneously. The color is transparent and crystalline. The olfactory profile is fragrant, with notes of medicinal herbs, juniper, myrtle, aromas of lemon, grapefruit, and white peach, balsamic nuances of mint, and a characteristic note of basil.
