This “Monsieur” del Professore is a Gin that the Antica Distilleria Quaglia produces based on a recipe where, apart from various botanical elements coming from Umbria and Toscana, there is a secret ingredient. After all, there must be something hidden in a Gin that Carlo Quaglia, the director of the distillery, developed together with the guys from Jerry Thomas, a speakeasy in Rome, precisely to celebrate the illegal American bars that, during the Prohibition era, distilled spirits regardless of bans and risks. A truly original Gin, which, precisely because of the high level of craftsmanship required at every production stage, is created in few exclusive numbered bottles. 

The Gin “Monsieur” Del Professore is produced by the Antica Distilleria Quaglia by adding to the juniper other botanical elements, among which lavender, orange, angelica, chamomile, vanilla, and cinnamon stand out. It is a distillate that draws inspiration from the typical production methods of the Prohibition era.American; during this period, the so-called “speakeasy” bars were born, secret meeting places where, to distill, small containers like bathtubs were used, in English “bathtub”, to cold mix alcohol with spices. The Gin “Monsieur” is a tribute to these highly artisanal techniques.

The “Monsieur” Del Professore is a Gin made by the Antica Distilleria Quaglia that presents itself in the glass with a clear, transparent, and crystalline color. The olfactory spectrum revolves around enveloping floral notes, enriched by touches of juniper and sweet spices.
