The Knut Gin Hansen was born from the desire to offer a distillate capable of expressing the character of the production area. The distillery is located in Hamburg, and its Gin fits into the modern trend of labels that have renewed its popularity, with multifaceted interpretations precisely characterized by their places of origin. The Gin is the result of a long preparatory work, which has allowed for the selection of German ingredients such as cucumbers and basil that come directly from the greenhouses of Hamburg, Altländer apples from the southern area of the Elbe River, and rose petals from the Baltic Sea coast. In total, 14 botanicals are used, but most are kept secret, as is the tradition of every distillery. Once the extraction phase is completed, quadruple distillation is carried out to achieve the maximum possible purity.
