Gin Grand Cabaret Hendrick's
Girvan Distillery's Grand Cabaret Hendrick's Gin is a lively and extravagant expression inspired by the fruit-based liqueurs of the Parisian Belle Epoque. The brainchild of Lesley Gracie, this Gin contains all the botanicals of the classic Hendrick's with the addition of rose, cucumber and stone fruit. The result is an enveloping and refreshing distillate dedicated to dreamers, artists and free spirits that lends itself well to spicing up a classic Gin & Tonic
The Hendrick's Grand Cabaret Gin from the Girvan Distillery is a gin with a character extravagant and fruity that recalls the decadent dimension of fashion in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century. In fact, it seems that in the most sumptuous venues of the French capital at the beginning of the '900, the taste of stone fruit, the scents of rose, and gin represented a very typical combination, akin to cherry liqueurs, eaux de vie, and schnapps with peach. These very characteristic flavors of an era have been skillfully revisited by Master Distiller Lesley Gracie to create a unique gin, produced in limited edition and dedicated to dreamers, artists, and free spirits.
Hendrick's Gin Grand Cabaret from Girvan Distillery is crafted from the union of numerous different botanicals, all those present in the recipe of the classic Hendrick's Gin, with the addition of cucumber, damask rose, and some stone fruits. These botanicals are distilled in two different stills and the gin is finally bottled in the iconic pharmacy bottle of Hendrick's.
To the eye, the Hendrick's Gin Grand Cabaret from the Girvan Distillery shows a crystalline appearance with bright reflections. The aromatic range expresses rich and enveloping hints of stone fruit like peach and apricot, surrounded by floral notes of chamomile and elderflower and hints of aromatic herbs. The sip is soft and refreshing, refined and balanced, with persistent fruity sensations defining the finish. The producer's suggestion is to combine the Gin Grand Cabaret with tonic water for an alternative Gin Tonic, or to mix it with cranberry, lime, and a touch of sugar syrup to create the Hendrick's Grand Cabaret Royale cocktail, with a few drops of Champagne or sparkling wine to complement.
