The 'Campi' Gin from the Italian brand Gin Terrae is an artisanal distillate with characteristic scents of cut hay that transport the senses to the Emilia countryside. In fact, behind the production of this gin, crafted in limited edition, lies a selection of botanicals carefully chosen in the Emilia Plain by Giovanni Campari, a talented distiller and fermentation expert who in 2021, after various experiences in Italy and abroad, founded the production company Gin Terrae with the aim of creating unique gins that evoke the aromas and flavors of the beautiful Italian territories.
The 'Campi' Gin Terrae is born from a selection of botanicals handpicked in the Emilia countryside, including hay, tomato leaf, beetroot, coriander, and angelica, along with the indispensable juniper. Distillation takes place in small batches using a 250-liter copper still following the recipes devised and developed by founder Giovanni Campari. The gin is finally packaged in a bottle designed by the Gin Terrae team and madeof 100% recycled Italian handmade paper and glass. Additionally, each bottle is hand-stamped and numbered.
Visually, the 'Campi' Gin from Gin Terrae presents a crystalline appearance. The nose recalls the scents of the countryside with its original hints of hay and cream, enriched by other earthy sensations of wild herbs and tomato leaf. On the palate, it is soft, enveloping, and intense, with elegant taste persistence. Due to its unique and highly evocative character, the 'Campi' Gin by Giovanni Campari represents an ideal base for creating experimental and unusual cocktails, leaving creative space for imagination.
