The Gewurztraminer 'Princes Abbés' from the Schlumberger winery is a white wine whose main characteristics are the richness and softness of the sip. It is a label whose grapes are fermented at controlled temperature and the aging takes place on the fine lees in oak barrels. The aromatic profile is marked by aromas of exotic fruit and floral hints. It can be highly recommended alongside strong-flavored cheeses like blue cheeses or paired with foie gras.

The Gewurztraminer "Princes Abbés" from Domaines Schlumberger originates in Alsace, on the border between Germany and France. The winery has historical roots: archival documents certify that the Schlumberger family began dedicating themselves to winemaking around 1500; after World War II, the family's landholdings were expanded, including those that are now considered among the best Alsatian Crus. The working philosophy is oriented towards the protection of the ecosystem surrounding the vineyards and towards respect for the raw material, so that the activity can be sustainable for the future.

The vineyards of Gewurztraminer "Princes Abbés" from Domaines Schlumberger grow on soils predominantly composed of limestone and sand, a characteristic that gives the final product complexity and elegance. The climate is continental, characterized by hot and sultry summers, while the cold winter winds are mitigated by the Vosges mountains and rainfall is less frequent than in the rest of France. The harvest is conducted manually and alcoholic fermentation in steel takes place in the winery. Subsequently, the must is left to mature on the lees for about 6-8 months in wood.

Visually, the Gewurztraminer "Princes Abbés" from Domaines Schlumberger presents itself with a straw yellow color and bright greenish reflections. The aromas evoke summer flowers, rose, and spicy notes like saffron and black pepper; on the palate, it reveals itself as elegant and rich with an overall harmony that invites glass after glass. It is recommended to pair with dishes from Eastern cuisine such as sweet and sour duck flavored with curry and blue cheeses like Munster and Gorgonzola. A product suitable for carefree dinners with lifelong friends, enjoying in the glass a wine with genuine and unexpected flavors and aromas.
