The Gewurztraminer "Nussbaumer" is an intense and structured aromatic white wine, vinified and aged only in steel to preserve the primary aromas of the grape variety. Rose petals, tropical fruit, and sweet spices enchant the nose and lead to a soft and fragrant sip, of great intensity and richness.

The Gewürztraminer "Nussbaumer" is one of the most prestigious labels of the Alto Adige winery Tramin. The aromatic grape variety, born in Central Europe from a spontaneous mutation of Traminer or Savagnin Blanc, has found a second homeland in the Termeno area, where it expresses itself with particular richness of scents and aromas. The label is produced in about a thousand bottles, with a selection of particularly rich and ripe grapes. The low yields favor a remarkable aromatic concentration, which gives an extraordinary complexity and taste persistence. It is a white wine of great personality, which pairs very well with spicy dishes from Indian or Asian cuisine.

The "Nussbaumer" is a Gewürztraminer made in one of the most famous cooperative wineries in Alto Adige. Founded at the end of the 19th century, Tramin manages about 260 hectares of vineyards, divided into small parcels located in the most suitable areas of the Termeno area. The Gewürztraminer grapes come from the vineyards of the Nussbaumer estate, which is located in locality Sella, at a height between 350 and 550 meters above sea level with a south-southeast exposure. The climate, very cool and ventilated, is characterized by significant temperature fluctuations, which favor the development of very intense aromas. The vines are aged between 10 and 40 years and are cultivated on morainic soils, composed of calcareous gravel and clay, which rest on a substrate of porphyry rocks. The grapes are hand-picked towards the end of October and after a brief cold maceration, soft pressing is carried out. The must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 18 °C, then matures in steel tanks on the fine lees until August and is refined in the bottle for 3 months before being put on sale.

The white Gewürztraminer "Nussbaumer" from Tramin has established itself over the years as one of the most famous wines of Alto Adige, an essential reference point for all enthusiasts of this fascinating aromatic grape variety.
