The Gewurztraminer by Kuenhof is an aromatic and elegant white wine that originates in Alto Adige and matures briefly in wood and steel. It consists of a classic rich and aromatic bouquet, composed of pronounced notes of lychee with sensations of tropical fruit, citrus, rose petals, and spicy sensations. It flows refined and enveloping, returning to aromatic tones

The Gewurztraminer from the Kuenhof winery is a particularly interesting version of this beloved aromatic grape variety native to Central Europe, successfully cultivated for many centuries in Alto Adige. In the cold climate and on the stony soils of the Isarco Valley, it expresses itself with a particular profile, which leans more towards elegance than opulent richness. Delicately floral notes prevail, with ripe fruit that is never excessive and a gentle spiciness. Thanks to a smooth sip, always supported by good freshness, the wine is delicate and lends itself to excellent pairings at the table with typical dishes of Eastern cuisine and more generally with spiced dishes.

The Gewurztraminer wine originates from one of the oldest farms in the Isarco Valley, the narrow valley that rises from Bolzano towards the Brenner and the Austrian border. The estate of Peter and Brigitte Pliger, now assisted in the work in the vineyard and cellar by their son, can count on over two centuries of history. The vineyards are cultivated under organic farming regulations, at an altitude ranging between 550 and 700 It is lively and clear, with ripe fruit, well balanced by a pleasant freshness and a savory trail, leading to a long and aromatically persistent finish.
