The Gewurztraminer from the Cantina di Caldaro is a white wine characterized by freshness and pleasant aromaticity, produced with cryomaceration and vinified exclusively in steel tanks. With a pleasant profile of exotic fruit and fresh flowers, it promises to be full and creamy on the palate, leaving a taste memory of long and gentle persistence.

The white wine Gewürztraminer is a product characterized by its great varietal impact, in which the starting grape variety used manages to present itself with absolute authenticity. On the nose, in fact, the aromas are those typical of the variety, and on the palate, the entry is decisive, highlighting a good body, warmth, and a decidedly dense character. A label from which all the know-how of Cantina di Caldaro Kaltern emerges, a well-established and renowned production reality at the national level.

The Gewürztraminer is made by Cantina di Caldaro Kaltern starting from vineyards whose age ranges from 6 to 21 years, located at about 350-450 meters above sea level, facing south and east. The soil here is characterized by a clayey and calcareous subsoil and offers excellent drainage. The grapes are harvested late, and after destemming, the berries are cold macerated for 12 hours. This is followed by soft pressing, and the obtained must undergoes static decantation, before fermenting in steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 18 and 20 degrees. It then matures on the fine lees in steel for 3 months.

This Gewürztraminer signed by Cantina di Caldaro Kaltern presents itself to the eye with a straw yellow color, rich and energetic. The aromas that envelop the nose evoke typically exotic sensations, ranging from lychee to pineapple, also featuring light hints of rose petals. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, full and round, with a decisive and vibrant sip, which ends with a finish of excellent persistence, characterized by an herbaceous aftertaste. A white from Alto Adige that is always a safe choice, perfect for enjoying an exotic evening in the kitchen, where it pairs excellently with Thai cuisine.
