The Friulano "Zio Romì" by Renato Keber is a rich and territorial white wine, produced with very short skin maceration and vinification in steel. It expresses clear hints of ripe fruit, fresh almonds, aromatic herbs, and wildflowers. On the palate, it shows body, softness, personality, and, above all, minerality.

The Friulano signed by Renato Keber is a wine that is strongly connected to the roots of the territory where it originates. The starting variety is indeed one of the most representative of the regional ampelographic heritage, and the terroir of Collio is the perfect environment for its potential. Added to this is the art, the savoir-faire of a master winery that unites grape and territory while respecting both elements. A very typical white, which offers an authentic and truthful sip of the territory.

The Friulano Renato Keber is born from the cultivation of Friulano grapes in vineyards located within the Collio denomination. The soil is characterized by “ponca”, made up of a mix of marls and sandstones, and between the rows, a particular microclimate blows, capable of creating significant temperature excursions between day and night. The approach in the vineyard relies on organic practices, without using either herbicides or systemic products. After a delicate destemming of the bunches, the pressing phase follows. The must macerates on the skins for 6-12 hours, then start fermenting in temperature-controlled steel containers. The wine remains to mature for 12 months in steel tanks on the fine lees, before undergoing at least another 2 years of aging directly in glass, before being released on the market.

The Friulano wine signed by Renato Keber presents itself to the eye with a concentrated straw yellow color, endowed with a particular brightness and brilliance. Wide and identity-filled on the nose, with notes of well-ripened white fruit interwoven with floral hints and light touches of aromatic herbs. It enters the mouth with a captivating sip, of good structure, characterized by a fresh and mineral vein that fascinates for its persistence. A bottle with which the winery gives free voice to one of its favorite varieties, capable like few others of telling the story of Friuli.
